Thanks for the compliment. :)

Thanks Yappiness!

Wow D!
I am so happy that the cut worked out for you. Believe me, I know how hard it is to try something so different from what you are used to doing. I am so sorry that the owner didn't appreciate what you did. I am sure that if you had clipped the dog before the bath you most likely would have had to use a #7F or shorter. That owner has no idea what you did for him. I would have saved the big hunks of mats that I got off and I would have taken it up to show the owner. I would have also told them that they were lucky that I was able to leave as much hair has I did. You SHOULD be proud of yourself!
Lisa, MFFMy Furry Friendshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03957566282521723511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6861555359944928813.post-89568149277909109982012-05-15T20:26:31.725-04:002012-05-15T20:26:31.725-04:00HI!

This dog pretty much had one solid matt all over its body, and hard rock matts all over its ears. I told the owner I would not be able to keep the hair very long but id try my best to keep it as long as possible. I washed him first and blew dry the matts away from his skin and soaked them in conditioner(no precut, this is a big deal for me) and OMG I GOT A FREAKIN 4 BLADE THROUGH HIS COAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though the owner hated it and was all snotty giving me attitude at pick up, Im very proud of myself and I wouldve never been able to keep him that long without your useful tips. Thankyou!

-DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6861555359944928813.post-30160953396275867612012-05-12T06:40:19.568-04:002012-05-12T06:40:19.568-04:00I do that all the time too..love your blogI do that all the time too..love your blogYappinessnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6861555359944928813.post-12734430112831759252012-05-12T00:18:23.867-04:002012-05-12T00:18:23.867-04:00Sorry that she gave you such a hard time! I can honestly say I have used this technique before, but I normally do it before I bathe them. This little Bichon looks great considering what you had to work with!Chassyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02254683642771926365noreply@blogger.com
