About Me:

I am a professional Pet Groomer. I have been grooming for 28 years. This Blog is a kind of diary of my work. I wish I had started years ago, writing some of the experiences I have had while grooming. Most days are fun, some can be sad, some can be just down right crazy. If you are a pet owner and come across this blog, I hope it helps you understand how your pet is groomed. If you are a Pet Groomer, I hope you can relate to some of the stories. Maybe even learn a grooming tip or can leave a friendly grooming tip for me. There is always something to learn, no matter how long you have been grooming.

A Couple Notes

Note 1:

I got a new camera for my birthday a couple of months ago.

I have been playing with it, trying to figure it out.

It is a helmet camera, mostly for sports people.

I wanted to use it for videoing from a groomers eye view.

I have taken a few videos but I am not totally happy with them.

I am still trying to figure out the  viewing angles.

Anyway, I loaded one of the videos on Youtube today.

It is a video on HVing undercoat out of a dog.

Good thing this camera comes with a waterproof case.

And, hair proof!

Here is the link to it:

Second note:

I also wrote a new post on my other blog:

The post title is: Why does it cost so much to have my dog groomed?

Please read it and let me know if you, as a groomer, or a customer think that it is too much or that I came on a bit too strong.
I get very tired of defending my grooming prices.
And defending my job. :(

I hope you enjoy the video and the new post. :)

Happy Grooming, MFF

  1. I love it! The blog is perfect!
Nothing is wrong with telling the truth, and you did not include any personal bias or attitude, it's well gathered information and the photos actually do most of the explaining.
    Thank you!

  3. Thanks Serena and Jessica,
My goal was to show people just how much they get for their money when we groom their dogs. Thanks for the feedback. :)
