About Me:

I am a professional Pet Groomer. I have been grooming for 28 years. This Blog is a kind of diary of my work. I wish I had started years ago, writing some of the experiences I have had while grooming. Most days are fun, some can be sad, some can be just down right crazy. If you are a pet owner and come across this blog, I hope it helps you understand how your pet is groomed. If you are a Pet Groomer, I hope you can relate to some of the stories. Maybe even learn a grooming tip or can leave a friendly grooming tip for me. There is always something to learn, no matter how long you have been grooming.

Another Cartoon.....

I have had this happen to me so many times, I can't even count.

(I am sorry that the quality is bad, making the cartoon hard to read. If you hold down the CTRL key and hit the + key  at the same time, it will make your screen bigger and you should be able to read it better.)

  1. Every time! I stopped bending for a few months, stood firm on my grooming times, didn't budge, barter, or haggle over priorities. My house my rules. Right? Wrong. The other day someone made a big deal about wanting the first spot of the day, at the last second when they came in, I moved things around and guess what? They showed up 5 minutes before closing time. I have a sign in my front window, it says, "If you are not here to pick up your pet by closing time, you will be charged $5 for every 15 minutes you are late, after an hour goes by your pet will be set up in a boarding suite and available for pick up in the morning." Cannot tell you how many people hurry before closing time now, it's been a while since someone kept me late. :)

    1. Hi Serena,
I can't tell you how many times I wish that I had a kennel setup so that I could close and board those dogs whose owners don't come by closing.
