This little guy came in for the second time.
He was an abused dog that a mother and daughter has rescued.
He is one lucky dog, his new owners love him very much.
They were told the he is a Westie/Pom cross.
I was definitely being tested the first time I groomed him, but that was okay.
I like when a customer cares enough about their dog that they want to test the way I handle their dog.
I guess that I passed the test, they came back. :)
I am glad.
The owners are very nice and the dog is a sweetheart.
I have hand scissored him each time he has been in.
He has a very large scar that goes vertical down the side of his body.
The scar is in the same spot on both sides of his body.
What in the world did someone do to this sweet little dog to cause such a scar?
He is still so trusting.
When I trace his scar with my finger it makes me want to cry.
Both times that he has been in, I have apologized to him for what someone did to him.
I hand scissor him to try to keep the scar hidden.
I didn't do that great of a job. :)
The scar is so deep and so wide, it is hard to keep hidden and still scissor the length that his owners wants.
But, the owners are happy and this little guy has a wonderful home now.
He does look happy...doesn't he?
That is all that matters. :)
Some dogs just make your day.
Sometimes our job can be so rewarding!
I Love the rescue dogs!
